2025 Niwot High School Pursuit for Education Scholarship (financial need required)
Eligibility: Graduating senior from Niwot High School who demonstrates financial need. The criteria for the maximum Pell Grant award in 2025 is a Student Aid Index value of zero to -1,500. The Student Aid Index is generated by the submission of the Free Application for Federal Student Aid. Applicants must complete the (FAFSA) prior to completing this application, and submit a copy of the Student Aid Report generated by the system along with this application. The NHSEF will use this Student Aid Index as an indicator of the level of financial need of the applicant.
Selection Criteria: Niwot High School recognizes the barriers some students must overcome in order to successfully complete high school and work toward a post-secondary education. This scholarship is designed to benefit motivated students who recognize the power and impact of post-secondary education. Letter of recommendation, high school transcript, and completed application required.
Requirements: Applicant must become a full time student at a two- or four- year institution of higher education or vocational/trade school in the fall of their NHS graduation year. Funds will be disbursed directly to the institution. The applicant AND their parent/guardian must sign the application, verifying that it is the student’s original work.
Amount: One (1) $2000 scholarship, payable directly to the institution or program in one lump sum.

2025 Niwot High School Founding Directors Scholarship
Eligibility: Graduating senior from Niwot High School who has made a positive impact on or contribution to Niwot High School and the community.
Selection Criteria: Community and school service, academic performance, letter of recommendation, high school transcript, completed application.
Requirements: Applicant must become a full time student at a two- or four- year institution of higher education or vocational/trade school in the fall of their NHS graduation year. Funds will be disbursed directly to the institution. The applicant AND their parent/guardian must sign the application, verifying that it is the student’s original work.
Amount: One (1) $2000 scholarship, payable directly to the institution or program in a lump sum.

2025 Niwot High School Trade/Vocational/Technical School Scholarship
Eligibility: Must be a graduating senior from Niwot High School who has been accepted into a Trades or Vocational Program, Associate of Science degree program, Apprenticeship or Journeyman program that results in a completed degree or certificate.

Requirements: Applicant must be starting their program the semester after high school graduation. Extenuating factors will be considered for providing an extension. Funds will be disbursed directly to the institution. The applicant AND their parent/guardian must sign the application, verifying that it is the student’s original work.
Amount: One (1) $2000 scholarship, payable directly to the institution or program in one lump sum.

Niwot High School Education Foundation (NHSEF, por sus siglas en inglés) está ofreciendo 3 becas de $2,000.00 en reconocimiento a la comunidad y servicio escolar, así como para apoyar a los estudiantes para lograr exitosamente sus metas en la educación después de la preparatoria. Los aplicantes deben ser Seniors que se gradúan y van a asistir a licenciaturas o escuelas vocacionales de 2 o 4 años. Los estudiantes pueden solicitar para más de una beca, pero no habrá solicitudes dobles.
Por favor vea las formas de solicitud para calificar y cualquier otra información. Los fondos para becas son enviados directamente a la cuenta de la universidad, colegio o escuela vocacional del estudiante que la recibe.
